Welcome to a trip out of the Universe.
Every day, we encounter things, ideas, concepts, lines, signs, images, songs, and whatever-else-have-you that make us think way, way, WAY out of the box. They bring us out of our personal Universes and encourage us to look at things from different perspectives.
This blog is my tribute to the questions we need to ask and the answers we have yet to find.
And… Who knows what else we will encounter along the way?

Nina Terol, I hope you have changed for good. It’s disappointing to label yourself as an ENABLER yet you can’t even stand up to the true meaning of the word. Yech! At sana sa blog post mo on lessons on failed leadership may natutunan ka naman.
May you prosper on your future endeavors

Dear Sir,
Thank you for commenting on my latest post.
I think you must understand that the reason why I can even write about this and share this now–ten or so years after that whole “failed leadership episode–is that I HAVE been able to process that experience and learn a thing or two about it. By sharing my own failed attempts at leadership I was trying to caution other young people from following others too blindly–from forging on without first grounding themselves on their own truths, they way I did before. As I was saying nga, if they want to be “a Ninoy,” they should go ahead, but they should first know why they’re doing it and what Ninoy really means to them. They cannot just follow for the sake of following.
Please know that this is not an attempt to discredit the campaign, which I really believe in. It is merely my way of telling others that one cannot follow their idols or heroes blindly because, in the end, THEY will have to make THEIR OWN contributions to the world. They will have to find their own strengths and see what THEY can do to make a difference. Ninoy was a great man, but sometimes we forget that he and all our other heroes are human too, and they make mistakes. And a lot of our leaders HAVE made mistakes. We must not fall into the trap of thinking that our heroes were perfect–they were flawed human beings as much as we are, but they made the most of the cards they were dealt with, so to speak. It will be our challenge now to make the most of OUR cards. Because times have changed now and the challenge is to find new, equally effective ways of doing things.
Ultimately, that was the message of this post. I’m sorry for the misunderstanding.

Sorry, Nina, I don’t know much about Philippine politics to get involved. Who is Ninoy? Have time enough only to keep an eye on Malaysian politics.
Best wishes on your endeavours.
